Ava’s Story

Dear Mr. Jack,

This is Ava, thank you for letting me shoot a buck. I think he is beautiful. I am going to shoulder mount him in my room. I shot the buck with a 243. At first I was nervous but Dad told me to breathe. I took 3 deep, deep breaths and I squeezed the trigger. I knew I got him when he went butt down on the dirt. I broke his shoulder and he started to bang his head against the dirt, he got wild and then silence. We took pictures and I gutted him and skinned him myself. I am just so glad that I got him and thank you again for the permission.
